Ongoing Therapy (Home & School-Based)
We provide ongoing, individualised occupational therapy sessions delivered in your child’s natural environments, including home, school, and community settings. Therapy begins with an initial assessment to establish therapy goals, followed by weekly or fortnightly sessions.
Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA)
Functional Capacity Assessments provide a comprehensive understanding of your child’s strengths, needs, and everyday functioning. We conduct clinical observations, parent and teacher interviews, and standardised assessments to support NDIS applications and funding reviews. A detailed report is provided along with evidence drawn from the assessment results to outline clinical recommendations and the ongoing support your child's needs across all environments.
School Readiness Screening
We provide one-off screenings to identify children who might benefit from occupational therapy input prior to transitioning to school. Screenings include assessing functional skills required for kindergarten. This can be completed individually or within early childhood settings. Following the screening, strategies and recommendations are provided to help prepare for a successful transition to school.
HSC Handwriting Provisions
Our therapists can assist with applications for HSC handwriting provisions where appropriate. This includes evaluating your child’s handwriting skills and providing strategies to improve legibility, along with clinical recommendations to support fair access to HSC exams.
Holiday Intensive Programs
At Neurolight, we offer a more focused period of support, with sessions delivered over a shorter timeframe. These programs are ideal for targeting specific goals, supporting and accelerating skill development, particularly when regular sessions are not available. Sessions are delivered on a 1:1, individualised basis tailored to your child’s needs.
